The Ministry of Education of India has issued several conditions related to essential compliances for higher education institutes dealing with professional courses. These conditions are as follows:
Accreditation
The institute should be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) or any other accreditation body recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Recognition
The institute should be recognized by the appropriate regulatory body for the professional course it is offering. For example, if an institute is offering an engineering course, it should be recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Infrastructure
